Le port de gants ou de masque peut donner un faux sentiment de sécurité. En effet, ceux-ci ne remplacent en aucun temps l’hygiène des mains. Il n’en demeure pas moins qu’il y a un risque de contamination lorsqu’on les retire.
Il est recommandé d’en faire l’usage seulement lorsque la situation le nécessite, c’est-à-dire si l’on doit entrer en contact étroit avec une personne qui présente des symptômes de la Covid-19, que l’on suspecte qu’elle pourrait être porteuse ou si elle revient de voyage au courant des 14 derniers jours. Les gants à usage unique doivent être enfilés au moment de l’intervention à exécuter puis retirés immédiatement après celle-ci.

SCHEDULE CHANGE | WALK-IN CLINIC ODANAK HEALTH CENTER
Every to weeks, as of March 18, Dr. Vincent Leroux-Lapointe will now be present at the Odanak Health Centre on Wednesday afternoons, from 1 to 3:30 pm.
A quick reminder of the eligibility criteria that must be met in order to meet Dr. Leroux-Lapointe:
- Be a resident of the community of Odanak including immediate family members (spouse/child(ren)) or be a legal and registered member of the community of Odanak living off-reserve including immediate family members (spouse/child(ren));
- Priority to members of the Odanak community who do not have a family doctor;
- Possibility of emergency consultations and/or for a specific health problem (sinusitis, otitis, injury, etc.) for members who already have a family doctor.
