OPENING OF THE PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL IN ODANAK
We are pleased to inform you that the public swimming pool of Odanak will open on June 24th. The opening hours will be from Tuesday to Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The pool will be free for everyone and accessible in priority to the people of Odanak, Pierreville and Saint-François-du-Lac.
Due to the sanitary measures put in place, please note that the operation will be different this year:
- The swimming pool is accessible through the outside fence and not through the building.
- When you arrive, you must report to the docking station and disinfect your hands.
- Access to the building (toilets, showers and cabins) is limited to one family at a time via the door on the pool side only.
- Each person must disinfect their hands when entering and leaving the building.
- There is no canteen this year. Swimmers are allowed to bring their own food and soft drinks.
- No pool equipment, tables or chairs are provided. Swimmers may bring their own folding chairs.
- The pool management reserves the right to limit the number of swimmers to ensure that the rules of social distancing are respected.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR GLASS CONTAINERS ARE ALLOWED.
Please also note that exceptionally, there will be no swimming or aquafitness classes for the 2020 season.
RÉOUVERTURE DE L’ÉGLISE ET HORAIRE DES MESSES (In French only)

NOTICE | DRINKING WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTED ON JUNE 17
Work to replace water inlets on Koak Street will take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. During the work, the drinking water supply on Koak Street will have to be interrupted for approximately 4 hours, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The work will be planned to avoid interrupting the water supply as much as possible during the lunch period. Nevertheless, it is suggested that you reserve a small amount of water for your personal use if you plan to need it.
It is possible that the water may be slightly cloudy after the work is done. If this is the case, let the water run until it is clear again.
